Gloria Adeline Marzullo died at the Kanas Center for Hospice Care on Quiogue, following a brief illness, on December 14, 2018. She was 93.
A former resident of Southampton, Mrs. Marzullo was living at Sunrise assisted living in Holbrook where she enjoyed Mass, bingo, cards, arts and crafts and all the social activities.
Mrs. Marzullo worked as a merchandise buyer for Bergdorf Goodman and Amalfi shoes in Manhattan before moving to the Hamptons. Her love of fashion was apparent in her daily dress. She was the perfect Italian hostess for every Sunday family pasta dinner and holidays, which always included many friends. Survivors describe her as a great cook, a loving woman, a member of St. Rosalie’s parish and a loyal Republican.
She was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Michele (Mike) Marzullo; a brother, Francis Longobardi; sisters, Angela Blandeburgo and Frances Prevete. She is survived by her son, Vincent and wife Josephine; daughter Marietta Seaman and husband Chuck; four grandchildren, Michael Marzullo and wife Dawn, Renee Seaman, Charles Seaman and wife Catherine, and Amanda Wilmouth and husband Ryan; three great-grandchildren, CJ Seaman, Reese Wilmouth and Annabel Seaman.
A funeral Mass was held at the Church of St. Rosalie followed by interment at Calverton National Cemetery.
