What’s more your style? A cedar-shingle 1960s beach house with a sleek modern interior, or a house that would fit in great in central Italy?

Two such homes in Amagansett recently changed hands in multimillion-dollar trades.

A Tuscan-style villa on the ocean sold for an even $6 million. Tarpon Holding Real Estate Group sold the 1.14-acre property at 37 Whalers Lane to Sanjay Chadda, according to The Real Estate Report Inc. Mr. Chadda is the senior managing director of PetskyPrunier, an investment banking firm on Wall Street that was acquired this year by Canaccord Genuity, a full-service financial services firm.

The classic stucco residence with four bedrooms and 4.5 baths has “massive archways, soft umber tones and exquisite Mediterranean details,” according to the Sotheby’s listing.

The residence, built in 1996, has 4,000 square feet of living space and ocean views from every room. On the second level, find the formal living room with fireplace, the dining room, the master bedroom and eat-in chef’s kitchen and separate breakfast room. The ground level has a large family room with a fireplace, a media room and three en-suite guest rooms.

Oversized mullion doors lead to the pool and brick paved terraces. A private path leads to the beach. There is also a two-car garage and full basement.

The property was listed for $6.5 million with Brenda M. Hopkins of Sotheby’s International Realty.

Sunspear On Central LLC is the new owner of 133 Central Avenue after dropping $3.09 million. The sellers were Allison and Mitchell Danzig. It had been listed for $3.25 million with Bonita DeWolf of Corcoran.

Located in Amagansett Dunes, the recently renovated 2,500-square-foot modern home on 0.29 acre has four bedrooms—including a 500-square-foot master suite—three bathrooms, an open floor plan, a large chef’s kitchen, a living room with double-height ceilings and a den. The house also has a full basement and a garage. The new wraparound deck has a hot tub and outdoor shower, and the backyard has a fire pit.
