Inc., the parent of ConnectOne Bank, and the First of Long Island Corporation, the parent of the First National Bank of Long Island, have announced a merger that will fold First National Bank into the ConnectOne brand. The combined company will have approximately $14 billion in total assets, $11 billion in total deposits, and $11 billion in total loans. First National has branches in East Hampton, Southampton, Riverhead and Southold, while ConnectOne has a single branch in East Hampton. Peconic Bay Medical Center Earns Top Spot in Social Responsibility Index Twelve Northwell Health hospitals have been given high rankings in the 2024-25 Lown Institute Hospital Index for Social Responsibility, with Peconic Bay Medical Center being ranked the No. 1 hospital in New York State for social responsibility.
