Thousands Of Eggs Ready To Be Collected At LIVIS Egg Hunt

The East Hampton Ladies Village Improvement Society will hold its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 12, on the organization’s grounds at 95 Main Street in East Hampton Village. The Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 11 a.m., but participants are encouraged to get there early with a basket or other receptacle to hold the collected candy-filled egg. Prizes are given to those who find one of several golden eggs, and the Easter bunny will be present for photo-ops. Bridgehampton Joins World Food Prize Global Challenge The hard work of Bridgehampton High School students’ innovative sustainability practices came to fruition during the World Food Prize Foundation’s Global Challenge. The months-long program allowed them to propose solutions to the world’s most pressing food security and agriculture challenges and present them to their peers. The Bliss Morehead Grant Committee has announced the winner of the fourth annual Bliss Morehead Poetry Grant competition: Bethany Moore of Shelter Island, for her poem, “In Praise of the End.” The theme for 2025 was “Beginnings and Endings.” Moore will be awarded the Bliss Morehead grant of $1,000 on Saturday, April 26, at 5 pm, at the Shelter Island American Legion Hall, during the group’s annual poetry meeting.
