The Upright Citizens Brigade Touring Company is coming to East Hampton on Thursday, July 28, at 8 p.m. for a totally improvised show at Guild Hall.
The Upright Citizens Brigade, which arose from Chicago’s ImprovOlympic in 1990 before moving to New York City in 1996 and eventually opening its own theater and its own improv schools, was founded by Amy Poehler, Matt Besser, Ian Roberts and Matt Walsh. Among the many notable alumni are Ed Helms, Aubrey Plaza, Horatio Sanz and Ellie Kemper.
This touring show, which runs 90 minutes, includes four up-and-coming UCB improvisers and includes audience participation.
Tickets are $22 to $44, available at guildhall.org or by calling 631-324-4050. Free students rush tickets are available.
