Rachael Ray, the quick-and-easy-cooking television personality, and her husband, attorney and musician John Cusimano, have put their Southampton home on the market for $4.9 million.

Listed exclusively by Martha Gundersen of Brown Harris Stevens, the 6-plus acres in the hamlet of Tuckahoe are on Tuckahoe Lane, between Southampton Golf Club and Shinnecock Hills Golf Club.

Ms. Ray has owned the house for about nine years, said Michael Murray, her design partner. Every piece of furniture and accessory in the house is from her Rachael Ray Home collection, which she conceived and they collaborated on, he said. “I execute her vision.”

He explained that she and Mr. Cusimano had bought the property to be close to Mr. Cusimano’s parents, who are no longer around.

“She built her dream home upstate, across the street from her mom, and her mom helped with that design, so life goes where it goes,” Mr. Murray said.

The main house has three ensuites, and the pool house has four living spaces including a kitchen, and two bathrooms. It all sits on a 1-acre parcel with a gunite pool, a bluestone patio, a pergola and an additional, one-room structure. Meanwhile, the remaining five acres could become the site of a second residence.

“The property is about the art of the possible, really, because you couldn’t get this piece of land,” Ms. Murray said.

Hamptons Rental Market Remains Alive and Well

To paraphrase Mark Twain, reports of the demise of the Hamptons summer-rental market are greatly exaggerated. “Any hint that the Hamptons rental market is anything but robust is completely wrong,” said Corcoran associate broker Gary DePersia in East Hampton. An interesting dynamic is stirring in the Hamptons vacation-rental market. Although there has been an unprecedented rise in short-term rentals and the aftershocks of the COVID-19 pandemic linger, it has been a bumper crop year for Wall Street, interest rates have remained steady and a new breed of demanding customer is emerging. Despite it all, the Hamptons vacation-rental market remains as ... 19 Jun 2025 by Joseph Finora
