Last Wednesday, Matt Lauer called in to Mike Lupica’s podcast to refute the rumors that he was having an affair with fellow “Today Show” cast member Natalie Morales, claiming that such widely circulating reports were hurtful to his wife and children. He could have easily offered another reason why the affair isn’t happening—Mr. Lauer has been way too busy juggling Hamptons real estate deals.

When Matt and Annette Lauer unveiled their Bright Side horse farm in Water Mill in September 2013, that turned out to be just the beginning of their Hamptons holdings. Last week, the Lauers put a house they owned on Deerfield Road in Sag Harbor on the market, with an $18 million ask. At the start of July, they put a waterfront cottage in North Sea on the block, for $3.9 million, and there has already been an offer and acceptance. And as The Press reported last month, Matt Lauer was the man behind the purchase of Richard Gere’s North Haven manse, shelling out $33 million—which might appear to be a whopping sum, but the real estate-obsessed TV anchor knew that the original price of the 6.2-acre, 12-bedroom “Strongheart” estate was $65 million.

The latest property to hit the market was the main residence for the Lauer family, implying that once sold they will move from Deerfield Road in Noyac to North Haven. What is being offered is actually two lots totaling 25 acres, with the 8,000-square-foot residence containing 6 bedrooms and 6.5 baths on the 15-acre parcel. Amenities include a Muriel Brandolini-designed interior, a tennis court, pool, pool house, and a Miranda Brooks-designed garden.

The cottage that just sold, on Scotts Landing Road, is 1,800 square feet on three quarters of an acre with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, cathedral ceiling, fireplace, country kitchen, and an enclosed porch. This might seem a bit too cozy for $3.9 million (Mr. Lauer bought it in 2009 for about $2.2 million), but the dock and lovely view of Wooley Pond are very appealing.

Seemingly untouchable—so far!—is the 40-acre Bright Side Farm. It is a boutique-style riding facility including hunter/jumper boarding and training room. It provides 36 oversized stalls for four-legged friends, two outdoor riding rings, an indoor heated arena, and 10 paddocks. Three years ago, Matt Lauer told The Press, “Bright Side Farm is a longtime dream come true. It brings together two things we truly enjoy. It unites our love of horses and our love of the Hamptons.”

Apparently, Mr. Lauer can now list a third passion. No, not Natalie Morales—buying and selling Hamptons real estate.
