Sag Harbor Cinema continues its free “Projections” series on Sunday, March 23, from 4 to 5 p.m., with a panel discussion titled “Supporting the Shinnecock: Home Repair and Community Empowerment with Hamptons Community Outreach.” There will also be a short film presentation by Hamptons Community Outreach that highlights its home repair program on the Shinnecock Indian Nation’s sovereign land. Bridgehampton Students Explore STEM at Stony Brook University Bridgehampton School’s eighth grade math class recently visited the STEM Lab at Stony Brook University where they engaged in an exploration of 3D printing and digital design. This field trip allowed students to see firsthand how STEM skills are shaping the future and igniting creativity in today’s world. American Parkinson Disease Association will commemorate the month with a “Did You Know?” campaign that will educate the public about Parkinson’s disease, highlighting everything from statistics and symptoms to personal stories and ways to get involved, while also helping those affected by Parkinson’s disease to feel empowered with the resources and support they need. Among the items need are clothing, toiletries, and school and kitchen supplies.
