The opening reception for “Virgin,” an exhibition of Amagansett artist Nika Nesgoda’s series of photographs based on church-commissioned paintings and featuring pornographic actresses, was held on Thursday, August 9, at the Spur in Southampton Village. The photographs are 16 years old but were back in the news this year because one of the models is Stormy Daniels, who claimed she was paid hush money not to discuss her 2006 affair with President Donald Trump. The Spur is located at 280 Elm Street. “Virgin” will be on view through August 29.
