ConnectOne Bancorp. Inc., the parent of ConnectOne Bank, and the First of Long Island Corporation, the parent of the First National Bank of Long Island, have announced a merger that will fold First National Bank into the ConnectOne brand. The combined company will have approximately $14 billion in total assets, $11 billion in total deposits, and $11 billion in total loans.
