Westhampton Beach Elementary School students made predictions on which team would win Super Bowl LVI, through its annual Souper Bowl fundraiser. Donations of nonperishable goods were used to vote for the team they thought would win this year’s Super Bowl by placing them in a team bin. The final tally indicated that 73students guessed the Los Angeles Rams would win and 138 thought the Cincinnati Bengals would take home the title. All items collected will be donated to local food pantries.

Students and staff at Raynor Country Day School celebrated "TWOsday with a celebration that paired community service and kindness. Children and staff were challenged to bring in and donate a new PAIR of mittens, gloves, and/or socks on 2-22-22. Sixth-grader Finnley Coonan and fourth-grader Rory Coonan help organize the donations.

Entries Sought for Art of Healing Showcase

In honor of National Recovery Month, the Town of Southampton Addiction, Recovery and Behavioral Health Committee is seeking entries for an upcoming visual art exhibition, “The Art of Healing,” which is set to take place on Saturday, September 21, from 3 to 6 p.m. at East End Arts, 141 East Main Street in Riverhead. Elmira College recently announced this year’s recipients of its annual Key Award. Among the recipients are Anthony Petersohn and James Wolfe, both of East Hampton.
