Southampton artist Leila Pinto is “making waves” in the art world with a double feature of her work. Pinto is known for works with intense hues and creative color blends that tell visual stories. In April, Pinto will contribute to the evolution of art by demonstrating a one-of-a-kind “phygital” experience. From April 12 to 14, Pinto’s “By the Sea II” will be simultaneously featured at Hudson Yards for the highly anticipated NFT.NYC event and also featured in American Art Collector magazine.
Available on SuperRare, the digital art market on Ethereum, “By the Sea II” is the highlight of this double feature and comes with a digital video that brings Pinto’s work to life with an effect connecting viewers to a place of serenity. This ocean-inspired artwork also makes waves in the physical aspect, with a 30” x 48” canvas painting. Pinto’s works “By the Sea II” as well as “Mystical Lagoon,” “Positive Change” and “Sea Mist” will all be featured in American Art Collector magazine as a gateway into abstract art.
Pinto’s creative ability helps art lovers understand both abstract and digital art. A classically trained New York artist, her paintings have been included in juried art shows, and galleries, received awards, been published and displayed on a grand scale on the Jumbotron in Times Square, at the Oculus in the World Trade Center, and on a giant 24-foot-tall Monolith at SCOPE art fair during Art Basel Miami week.
