Beautiful Occasion

Saturday night on the lawn of the Custom House was such a lovely endorsement of what we at the Sag Harbor Historical Museum have accomplished and plan to do. My thanks go to so many friends and supporters for attending and making the evening truly a celebration. Thanks also to those who supported the museum and were not able to attend. I can say you missed a beautiful occasion. Thanks to our event chair, who knocked herself out designing, planning and executing “Sag Harbor’s Party of the Year,” Cathleen Civale, a SHHM trustee. But it’s more than that these days, as distrust and public rancor, much of it fueled by ... by Staff Writer

The second was the mind-blowing presidential debate. We witnessed Donald Trump in full form as his usual lying, bombastic and fear-mongering self. We witnessed Joe Biden, never a superb speaker, giving a horrific performance, mumbling and not finishing sentences coherently. ... by Staff Writer
