The Depot Art Gallery in Montauk presents “Summer Daze,” an art exhibition featuring the art of David Slater, Dominick Cantasano and Elisca Jeansonne. The show opens with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, and remains on view through July 1.

David Slater is a local American living legend whose mixed media canvases are an explosion of color, shapes, symbolisms, dream states and more. Each canvas guides viewers through chapters from his own unique life story which translates into an exciting, unique visual display of his art. He is a master of narrative painting and he continues to excite and delight audiences with his colorful tales.

Dominick Cantasano has spent his life as a renaissance man of many talents. His art embodies his love of music, understated social commentary and daily events with a keen sense of humor — and a zing. Whether works on canvas, paper or mixed media/3D work, Cantasano’s wealth of inspirations and life experiences never miss to take viewers to a faraway place.

Elisca Jeansonne is a multi-talented artist, painter, collector and creator of unique jewelry which is wearable art. No two pieces are ever the same. All are lovingly and diligently created and reworked from thousands of found and treasured items that range from vintage beads and toy parts to household and beauty items, all “upcycled” into bangles, bracelets and necklaces that have a sense of whimsy but are intricately and intelligently designed. She is a true visionary who deconstructs to reconstruct. This is art jewelry to collect, but most of all to enjoy wearing to make a statement.

The Depot Art Gallery is located at the Montauk train station at Flamingo Avenue and South Edgemere Street in Montauk.
