Kenny G is bringing his iconic sound to the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center on Saturday, June 29, at 8 p.m. Known for his ability to blend jazz with pop, R&B and Latin sounds, Kenny G’s recording career spans over three decades and 23 albums.

“This will mark the second time that Kenny G has performed at the WHBPAC, and we know that audiences of all ages will appreciate this unforgettable night of contemporary jazz,” said Heather Draskin, the theater’s marketing director.

Since 1982, Kenny G has become one of the best-selling instrumental musicians and best-selling artists with global sales totaling more than 75 million records. Seven of his singles have hit the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100. He has also been ranked as one of the most played artists in the Adult Contemporary format with nine top 10 singles.

Kenny G has collaborated with some of the biggest names in music ranging from Michael Bolton and Weezer to Whitney Houston and Katy Perry. He began playing the saxophone at age 10 and at just 17, was hired by Barry White to perform with his Love Unlimited Orchestra. In 1982, he released his first album, a self-titled mix of jazz and R&B. But it was his fourth studio album, “Duotones,” released in 1986, that made him an international star. It peaked at No. 6 on Billboard’s Top 200 list and spent 102 consecutive weeks on the chart. Kenny G’s biggest hit single was 1987’s “Songbird,” which peaked at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100. His bestselling album to date, 1992’s “Breathless,” sold 12 million copies in the U.S. alone. His 1994 Christmas album, “Miracles: The Holiday Album,” has sold over eight million copies. In early 2015, he released his 14th studio album, “Brazilian Nights,” a 10 song set that is a tribute to Bossa Nova, with a mixture of classics and Kenny G originals. G is also slated to release his memoir in the fall of 2024.

Tickets are $140 to $200 at whbpac.org, 631-288-1500 or at the theaters box office located at 76 Main Street, Westhampton Beach during business hours.
