“Harmonia,” a 2016 Israeli film directed by Ori Sivan, is inspired by the biblical story of Abraham, Sarah and Hagar from the book of Genesis. This contemporary retelling of the tale is set in Jerusalem. Sarah, a harpist, is married to Abraham, the conductor of the Philharmonic Orchestra. The marriage is threatened when Hagar, a young Palestinian horn player, joins the orchestra. The film is in Hebrew with English subtitles.
