On Sunday, November 20, at 2:30 p.m. Montauk Library will present classical pianist Solomon Eichner in concert. Eichner will perform works by Brahms, Liszt, Schumann, Debussy, Rachmaninoff and others. Equally at home with solo, chamber and concerto performances, Polish-American Eichner has performed extensively in England, Italy, Germany, Austria, Poland and throughout the U.S. and has established himself as an exciting and versatile artist known for his commanding performances of the romantic keyboard repertoire.

After winning the Golden Key Debut International Competition in New York City, Eichner made his Carnegie Hall Debut in 2016. Two years later, sponsored by the March of the Living Foundation, Eichner was honored to perform alongside cellist Amit Peled and violinist Yevgeny Kutik at the 75th anniversary commemoration of the liberation of Auschwitz at the Krakow Philharmonic Hall, Jewish Cultural Center and at Auschwitz before an audience of over 20,000 people.

In April 2021, Eichner debuted with the North Carolina Symphony performing Saint-Saens’s “Carnival of the Animals” with Conductor Michelle DiRusso. In January 2022, he performed Beethoven’s Triple Concerto with the NC Symphony, with Conductor Cristoph Konig. During the rest of the year, he performed at numerous prestigious venues in New England, the Great Lakes, Florida, California and New York.

The concert is free and open to the public. For more details visit montauklibrary.org or call 631-668-3377. Montauk Library is at 871 Montauk Highway, Montauk.
