“The Big Christmas Show, A Live Radio” a new holiday play with music, premieres at Southampton Arts Center in December.

Directed by Michael Disher “The Big Christmas Show, A Live Radio” will immediately become a new holiday classic when a celebrity holiday radio broadcast takes an unexpectedly heartfelt turn on Christmas Eve. The new play, conceived by playwright Joe Landry and Disher and written by Landry, embraces several well-known Christmas tales including “The Gift of the Magi,” “Yes, Virginia, There Is a Santa Claus” and some unexpected gems.

Shows at SAC are Friday, December 8, at 7 p.m., Saturday, December 9, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Sunday, December 10, at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20 ($15 members) at southamptonartscenter.org. Southampton Arts Center is at 25 Jobs Lane, Southampton.
