Romany Kramoris Gallery presents a group exhibition featuring the work of Michael Albert, Adriana Barone and Roger Sichel, running July 3 through July 25. A reception for the artists will be held on Saturday, July 6, from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Michael Albert has been creating art since his college days at New York University where he studied business. During that time, he became interested in art after visiting many of the great museums of New York City and seeing many great masterpieces, and soon after began making art in his own personal quest to create a masterpiece worthy of hanging at a major museum.

His art has evolved from doodles and pen and ink, to serious wax oil drawings, to the cubist mosaic cereal box collages (Cerealism) he has become known for. In the past two decades he has been creating large-scale “epic” collage works using the cardboard packaging of iconic consumer brands on various themes including history, literature, famous quotes, biblical and religious themes, music, mathematics and more.

Adriana Barone is a graduate of Pratt Institute who, in 1994 moved to Sag Harbor from New York City when she changed careers from art directing to energy healing. In addition to her healing practice, she spends massive amounts of time art making.

Photographer, artist and festival producer Roger Sichel’s prolific creative experience spans generations and genres. From creating one of New York’s first erotic film festivals with judges Andy Warhol, Gore Vidal and Milos Forman to producing rock concerts with the Doors, Four Seasons and Isaac Hayes nationwide, he identifies most as a cultural observer and photographic journalist.

Sichel has now entered the next phase of his artistic career and is choosing to explore neo-pop mixed media, inspired by his own life, as well as current events, while simultaneously preserving the legacy of his work in photojournalism.

Romany Kramoris Gallery is located at 41 Main Street in Sag Harbor. Visit kramorisgallery.com for details.
