Landscape photographer Peter Lik began capturing the wonders of nature as a young boy in his native Australia and never stopped. In 1984, Mr. Lik migrated to the U.S. and discovered his passion for panoramic photography. One of his most notable projects, “Spirit of America,” is a 50-state landscape exploration of perilous deserts, ethereal mountain peaks, lush fields and glimmering cityscapes and his love for America and its landscapes led him to become a naturalized citizen in 2013.

Now, he’s proud to announce the official opening of LIK Fine Art Hamptons, his new gallery at 66 Newtown Lane in East Hampton. The gallery opened June 1 and is Mr. Lik’s second in New York (he also has a gallery in SoHo in Manhattan). The East Hampton space features 45 of Mr. Lik’s masterworks, including New York City-inspired images “Sunday 5:47,” “Vintage Road,” and “The Sentinel.”

This has been a very busy year for Mr. Lik, who has already launched new galleries in Vail, Dallas, Washington D.C., and Chicago, with plans to open a third New York location on Madison Avenue this summer.

The grand opening celebration for LIK Fine Art Hamptons will be Saturday, July 13, 6 to 9 p.m.

“New York has given me so much beauty to capture and share,” said Mr. Lik in a statement. “For years, the Hamptons have beckoned me—I am thrilled to finally set up shop at this seaside dreamscape and warmly welcome in a community that has always embraced me and my work.”

Aside from his many New York landscapes, the new space also features sought-after collector favorites from around the globe: “Endless Summer” of La Jolla, California; “Tranquil Blue” from the Floria Keys; and “Eternal Beauty” from Page, Arizona.

For more details regarding LIK Fine Art Hamptons contact the gallery at 631-600-3510 or visit lik.com.

Mr. Lik has been awarded the title of Master Photographer from the Australian Institute of Professional Photography, Professional Photographers of America, Federation of European Photographers and Master Photographers International along with Fellowships from the British Institute of Professional Photographers, The American Society of Photographers and The Royal Photographic Society. Hi masterworks “Ghost” and “Inner Peace” were included in an exhibition of Nature’s Best Photography at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in Washington D.C.
