April Gornik Art Graces ARF Calendar Cover

The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons has released its 11th anniversary edition of the ARF Pet Calendar, featuring cover art by North Haven’s own April Gornik, who is most famously known for her dramatic landscapes.

The artist stretched her pet-friendly muscles for this year’s cover, featuring a curious canine sniffing a fluffy kitten sitting in the grass. The desk calendar also includes photographs of pets and their owners, as well as several Adoption Center residents. All proceeds from the calendar, which costs $25, benefit the ARF Adoption Center in Wainscott, where more than 150 cats, kittens, puppies and dogs await a forever home.
