The Artists Alliance of East Hampton is making a departure from its normal exhibition mode by producing “Easels Up,” a first art event at LTV Studios on August 12 to 14 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a reception on August 12 from 5 to 8 p.m. Admission is free for all.

Sixty artists will display a work of art on their own easels. The artwork will be for sale and the entire proceeds will go to the artist as is usual for an Alliance show. Sebastian Paczynski, known for his work at Guild Hall will light the show, Alberto Bengolea provides music on guitar with accompaniment, and Matt Lownes will interview the artists in a sit-down videotaped environment. A menu of particular taste, wine and packaged snacks will be served from the LTV kitchen. The event will be taped for broadcast by LTV and include taped interviews with the artists.

LTV Studios is at 75 Industrial Road in Wainscott. Visit artisitsalliance-easthampton.org for details.
