Black Dub will play the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center on Sunday, June 19, at 8 p.m.
The four-piece band is fronted by guitarist and composer Daniel Lanois, who has produced albums for U2, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson and Neil Young; drummer Brian Blade; bass player Daryl Johnson; and singer Trixie Whitley.
The band plays “dub” music, which is deeply rooted in Jamaican reggae but they also draw influence from rock, soul, blues, jazz and New Orleans funk music.
