Want to learn a few bike tips and tricks from a BMX pro? Come hang with Russell Barone and Travis Foreman at The Church on Friday, October 20, at 4:30 p.m. and meet two biking instructors who’ve heavily impacted the biking community in several ways.

The program will kick off with a BMX demonstration from professional BMXer Russell Barone along with a few of his fellow riders. Watch in awe as they perform jumps and tricks, demonstrating the difficulty and awesomeness of this two-wheeled sport. Following the demo, Travis Foreman better known as “The Bike Whisperer,” will discuss his philosophy on the importance of learning how to ride a bike, a childhood milestone that we can all relate to. Barone will discuss his life as a professional BMX biker and how he’s traveled (and biked) all over the world.

Barone and Foreman have collectively taught thousands of kids how to ride a bike, helping kids gain the confidence and freedom that come with taking your first solo-ride. A Q&A and open discussion will conclude the program, so bring your own biking stories and questions for the two biking gurus.

This event is free, but registration required at thechurchsagharbor.org. The Church is at 48 Madison Street, Sag Harbor.
