author on Jan 29, 2019

The Cabin Fever Music Festival, a live music series designed to offer relief from the doldrums of winter, returns for its 12th edition in February.

Every weekend, shows will take place at various bars and restaurants from as far west as Center Moriches and as far east as Amagansett. A variety of genres are represented.

Satchel Boogie and The Mud Show kick off the festival on Friday, February 1, at the Southampton Publick House. Opening weekend will continue with Yoga Pants, An Old Friend and The Tweekers on Saturday, February 2, at North Sea Tavern.

Bryan Gallo & His Band, Necter and Foster Europe Band will play at Buckley’s Irish Pub in Center Moriches on Friday, February 8, and then the festival heads east on Saturday, February 9, for a Bob Marley birthday celebration at the Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett. The Realm and Project Vive will play that show.

Acoustic Night is Friday, February 15, at Cowfish in Hampton Bays with The Encore Machines, Craig Whitney and Kevin Saboe. Mill Road House in Westhampton Beach will host Bad Mary, Adam’s Atoms and Black Leaf on Saturday, February 16.

There will be three shows on closing weekend. Liam Meaney and Wandering Time will perform at Doran’s in Hampton Bays on Friday, February 22, and Dr. Eamz and Souliztik will play at Buckley’s Inn Between in Hampton Bays on Saturday, February 23. The festival concludes with Flack Jacket, No Lives, Haunted Hacienda, Old Ironsides and The Shipwrecks on Sunday, February 24, at 230 Down in Southampton Village.

Shows start at 9 p.m., with the exception of an 8 p.m. start time for the acoustic night and 4 p.m. for the finale. The cover charge for most shows is $5, though the acoustic show and the Center Moriches show have no cover at all. For updates, visit facebook.com/CFMFLI.
