Jazz pianist Judy Carmichael will perform in an intimate event at The American Hotel in Sag Harbor on Sunday, May 4, at noon. The event will support “Judy Carmichael’s Jazz Inspired,” the musician’s weekly NPR radio show (and podcast) now celebrating its 25th year. The Champagne luncheon includes a recital and tickets are $150, all inclusive.

Every week with the guests on her show, Carmichael explores what inspires the people who inspire the rest of us and asks the question, “How do creative people create?” Celebrated artists discuss their creative process and how their passion for jazz has inspired their work. They share their favorite recordings and insight into their life and art.

The event beings promptly at noon on Sunday, May 4 and will run until 2 p.m. To reserve a ticket, visit judycarmichael.com/events/. The American Hotel is at 45 Main Street in Sag Harbor.
