WSHU FM’s weekly essayist and Long Island resident David Bouchier will be at the Rogers Memorial Library on Thursday, September 19, at 1 p.m. to give a talk entitled, “The Real South of France.”
In this engaging illustrated talk, Bouchier, who has lived in two different French villages in Languedoc, recounts the experiences with village traditions and village cats, the French language, travels around France, and the pleasures and challenges of everyday life in a very different culture. He will read from his latest book, “Not Quite a Stranger.” Register at myrml.org or call 631-283-0774 ext. 523. Rogers Memorial Library is at 91 Coopers Farm Road in Southampton.
