“Dorothea Rockburne: In My Mind’s Eye,” the first career retrospective of the work of Ms. Rockburne will open Sunday, June 19, at the Parrish Art Museum in Southampton.
The exhibit, organized by Alicia Longwell, Chief Curator, Art and Education, will survey more than 50 examples of Ms. Rockburne’s work from the late 1960s to the present. The exhibition will remain on view through August 14.
An opening reception will be held Saturday, June 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. That evening, Ms. Rockburne will discuss her work with Ms. Longwell and art historian David Anfamat at 6 p.m. in the museum’s concert hall.
