Summer was made for movies under the stars. Join HamptonsFilm in East Hampton Village on five Wednesdays at sunset (8:30 p.m.) for free screenings of classic crowd pleasers, both in Herrick Park and on Main Beach.

Want a front row seat? Reserve an 8’ x 10’ square in the first two rows for $50, which supports HamptonsFilm’s year-round education and community programs. Seating is otherwise free, but reserve at hamptonsfilmfest.org so organizers can plan the evenings. Free squares are available first come, first served. Bring your own chairs, blankets and a picnic (alcohol prohibited). Be kind to the park and the beach — take everything with you when you leave, including all trash.

July 17: Herrick Park – “Jurassic Park” directed by Steven Spielberg

July 24: Herrick Park – “Singin’ in the Rain” directed by Gene Kelly and Stanley Donen

July 31: Main Beach – “Moana” directed by John Musker and Ron Clements

August 7: Herrick Park – “The NeverEnding Story” directed by Wolfgang Petersen

August 21: Main Beach – “Jaws” directed by Steven Spielberg
