The Howard Gospel Choir, made up of Howard University students and alumni, will perform a benefit concert on Saturday, September 10, in Southampton to raise money for the Bridgehampton Child Care & Recreational Center.
The choir was founded at the historically black university in Washington, D.C, in 1968 and has performed across the United States and toured internationally.
During the concert, which takes place at the Dormition of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church of the Hamptons, children from the center will present a tribute to the heroes of 9/11.
