On Saturday, November 11, at 6 p.m., LTV Studios in Wainscott presents a screening of “I Am Judit,” a new film by Hamptons Bays filmmaker Christiane Arbesu. The documentary tells the story of 91-year-old Judy Sleed, a Holocaust survivor and longtime resident of East Hampton. In the film, Sleed lifts the veil of secrecy surrounding her harrowing childhood — a painful truth she’s never even shared with her own children until the making of the film. The past is juxtaposed with the present and viewers come to experience the magnificent light that is Judy Sleed.

The film has won numerous awards at various film festivals and the screening is free.

LTV Studios is at 75 Industrial Road in Wainscott. For more information, visit ltveh.org.
