A new year brings new shows to The Suffolk. January’s lineup includes everything from pop and rock to comedy and movies, with a little bit of something for everyone. Tickets and more information are available at thesuffolk.org. The Suffolk is at 118 East Main Street in Riverhead.

Friday, January 10, at 8 p.m. — G.E. Smith & The American Blues Featuring Jimmy Vivino

 

G.E. Smith, Emmy-award winning bandleader for NBC’s Saturday Night Live and one of the most in-demand blues guitarists and musicologists in the world, is back with his American Blues series and special guest Jimmy Vivino. Best known for serving as Conan O’Brien’s musical director and bandleader for 26 years, Vivino has produced, lead bands, and recorded with a countless number of rock and roll and blues artists for five decades.

Saturday, January 11, at 8 p.m. — “Classic Stones Live”

 

Featuring The Glimmer Twins, “Classic Stones Live” stands out among the rest with a jaw-dropping resemblance to rock and roll icons Mick Jagger and Keith Richards along with musical prowess, attention to detail, and the spot on renditions of all of your favorite Rolling Stones classics.

Sunday, January 12, at 2 p.m. — “Fearless: The Taylor Swift Experience”

 

Featuring live performances of all the fan-favorite hits from every iconic Taylor Swift era, the show coves tunes like “Shake It Off,” “Blank Space,” “Love Story,” “You Belong With Me,” “Look What You Made Me Do” and countless others. Featuring Rikki Lee Wilson, a self-proclaimed Swiftie, “Fearless” promises to deliver the ultimate Taylor Swift experience around. Audience members can enjoy an open dance floor along with kid-friendly food and drink specials available to order throughout the show.

Friday, January 17, at 8 p.m. — “Magical Mystery Doors: The Beatles, Zeppelin & Doors Tribute”

 

Magical Mystery Doors is a tribute act that blends and layers the music of three legendary bands – The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and The Doors – to create something new and unique for music fans everywhere. Throughout the show, Magical Mystery Doors combines these bands' classic compositions in ways that surprise and delight audiences time and time again.

Saturday, January 18, at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. — “MJ The Illusion: Reliving the King of Pop”

 

MJ The Illusion is a one-of-a-kind concert that journeys through the music and performances of Michael Jackson. Through this experience, audiences will be immersed in this magical journey of re-living Michael Jackson’s Dangerous Tour. With the incomparable live vocals of Michael Knight, and his team of world-class dancers, feel like you’re seeing the King of Pop live in concert.

Friday, January 24, at 8 p.m. — Long Island Comedy Festival

 

Now celebrating its 19th year, the Long Island Comedy Festival returns with an all new line-up of top comedians. This show features Long Island’s own Paul Anthony, fan-favorite Rich Walker, New York City’s Kendra Cunningham and national headliner Mick Thomas plus a surprise guest comedian.

Saturday, January 25, at 8 p.m. — “512: The Selena Experience”
