Joy Jan Jones, a highly praised jazz singer who has performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and nightclubs and theaters throughout New York, will be giving her first concert in East Hampton on Saturday, November 11, at 5 p.m. at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. The concert is free and open to the public.

Jones, who has received numerous awards, will sing a number of well-known jazz standard, accompanied by her band, The Fiancés, which includes Bobby Peterson on keys, Tom Khiloury on guitar, Mike Pitocchi on string bass and Fitzy on percussion.

As a recording artists and song writer, Jones has earned studio credits since age 12. In addition to performing, she serves as associate music director and principal cantor at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in East Hampton. She earned a bachelor of music degree in performance from Sam Houston University and a master of music degree in performance from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam.

St. Luke’s Episcopal Church is at 18 James Lane in East Hampton.
