Some 30-plus paintings by East End and New York City-based artist Leila Pinto are currently featured in the Hampton Designer Showhouse at 140 Edge of Woods Road in Southampton. The Showhouse, which opened August 14, will be open to the public through September 25.

Pinto’s work, with a growing following among collectors and curators, reveals a unique artistic point of view and her paintings have been included in juried art shows, shown in galleries, received awards, published and displayed on a grand scale on the Jumbotron in Times Square and at the Oculus in the World Trade Center. Her artistic aesthetic is inspired by nature — in abstract seascapes — and emotive responses to the day-to-day challenges of her Wall Street career as a senior professional in finance.

In addition to working in oils and mixed media, she is exploring new digital technologies in art. She participated in a panel on NFTs at Davos, has her own gallery in the Metaverse, was featured in the first all-female NFT exhibition in Singapore and was named one of the top 5 NFT artists to watch, follow and invest in.
