Herman’s Hermits Starring Peter Noone – Sunday, March 19, at 4 p.m. With chart-topping hits like “I’m Into Something Good,” “Mrs. Brown, You’ve Got a Lovely Daughter,” “I’m Henry VIII, I Am,” and so many more, it’s no wonder why Herman’s Hermits is considered to be one of the most successful acts in the British Invasion.
Ladysmith Black Mambazo – Thursday, March 23, at 8 p.m. Recipient of more Grammy awards and nominations than any world music group in history, this group led peaceful protests through songs of hope and love during the dark years of South African Apartheid. They also introduced world music to mainstream audiences when their rich harmonies were incorporated into Paul Simon’s renowned “Graceland” album.
Soul In My Country – Friday, March 24, at 8 p.m. Two Grammy nominated singers, Brian Owens & Rissi Palmer, join forces for a soulful spin on classic country. Taking inspiration from legends like Aretha Franklin, Johnny Cash, Sam Cooke and more, Owens and Palmer deliver their own interpretation of these classic sounds with soul and country flares.
