OLA of Eastern Long Island and Guild Hall have partnered to bring “Latin Moon and Soul,” a live music event, to East Hampton on Friday, May 28, at 8 p.m.

Latin Moon is a multicultural band that fuses Latin rhythms with funk, rock, and pop. Its six members are from Colombia, Cuba, Chile, Ecuador and the U.S. They are directed by musician, composer and music producer Willy Fuentes, along with his daughter, Carolina Fuentes, who is also a composer and music producer as well as a percussionist. Both have also been founding members of various musical projects in the Hamptons, including Mr. No-Shame and Conga Cartel. Also performing with them will be Hannah Chavez.

“Latin Moon and Soul” will feature romantic boleros, Latin and world music, jazz, funk and rock, among other genres. Other musicians taking part include Danni Medina and Four Billion Years (a three-piece band featuring Jay Schneiderman on drums, Alessandro Giangola on vocals and guitars, and Willy Fuentes on bass).

All are welcome to attend. “Latin Moon and Soul” will take place in the John Drew Backyard Theater at Guild Hall, 158 Main Street, East Hampton. Tickets are $35 per person at guildhall.org. Guests ages 5 and up must show proof of full vaccination or recent negative COVID-19 test results to attend.
