The Wamponamon Masonic Music Series in Sag Harbor continues on Sunday, December 22, at 5 p.m. with a performance by Out East, an original band based on the East End. Bringing a fresh group of tunes to the area, Out East adds rock, reggae, jazz and singer-songwriter influences to bring a unique blend of original material (with some covers) to your ears. The band members are: John Jinks on lead vocals, acoustic and electric guitars and electric sitar; Carlos Barrios on bass guitar and tanpura; and Gerry Giliberti on congas, drums, electronic percussion and backing vocals. All original tunes are by John Jinks
The December 22 performance takes place in the inner sanctum of the Masonic Temple, located at 200 Main Street, Sag Harbor above the Sag Harbor Whaling & Historical Museum. There is free parking in the rear of the building. The $20 admission to the show supports gifts to local charities such as scholarships to Pierson graduates, food pantries, and other locals in need. The music series is produced by the Freemason Brothers of Wamponamon Lodge.
