The Sag Harbor Masonic Club welcomes back No. 1 charting Reggae artist Winston Irie to the Wamponamon Masonic Temple on Friday, October 15, at 8 p.m. Irie gives credit to his mother and great Aunt Jainey Morgan for his love of music. He has shared the stage with such greats as Toots, Jimmy Cliff, The Wailers and Lenny Kravitz to name only a few.

“Music is a gift from God, Jah Amlak Yah,” says Irie. “It make him happy to see people happy. Let the Jah music play on!”

Not to be outdone by the Jah music, Fred Raimundo and The Dark Heart Tavern Band perform on Saturday, October 16, at 8 p.m. The Dark Heart Tavern Band members are Paul Brokaw, Kevin Twigg and Greta Quezada. They will be playing a bunch of tunes from their record “Cinema, Stories from The Dark Heart Tavern” and maybe some other surprises.

The Masonic Music Series is a singer/songwriter series featuring the best of the East End’s musical performers in an intimate setting. Performance are in the unique inner sanctum of the Masonic Temple. The $20 admission supports gifts to local charities. The music series is produced by the Freemason Brothers of Wamponamon Lodge.

The Masonic Temple is located at 200 Main Street, Sag Harbor above The Sag Harbor Whaling Museum with plenty of parking in the rear of the building. For more information and ticket sales visit, masonicmusicseries.com.
