Summer Concerts In The Park Are Back

Southampton Cultural Center’s 2022 Concerts in the Park series will kick off on Memorial Day weekend with Nancy Atlas performing at Agawam park at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 29. This is the first time the series has started this early in the season since its inception in 1986. The summer roster features a diverse lineup of local musicians whose performances will appeal to all ages. Bring a blanket or chairs, a picnic, friends, and family and plenty of good cheer!

This season, concerts will be offered at Agawam Park and Coopers Beach in Southampton Village, and at Good Ground Park in Hampton Bays. In addition to the May 29 show, concerts will be offered Wednesdays from July 6 to August 31 at 6:30 p.m., and one additional concert will be held Thursday, July 21, at 7 p.m.

Wednesday, July 13, 6:30 p.m. — ELO Tribute Band, Agawam Park

Wednesday, July 20, 6:30 p.m. — Project Vibe, Coopers Beach

Thursday, July 21, 7 p.m. — Nancy Atlas, Good Ground Park

Wednesday, July 27, 6:30 p.m. — Melissa Errico, Agawam Park (inside if inclement weather)

Wednesday, August 3, 6:30 p.m. — The John Fogarty Project, Agawam Park

Wednesday, August 10 , 6:30 p.m. — “Opera at the Park” with Long Island School of Arts, Agawam Park (rain date: Thursday, August 11)

Wednesday, August 17, 6:30 p.m. — The Lone Sharks, Coopers Beach

Wednesday, August 24, 6:30 p.m. — Damaged Goods, Agawam Park

Wednesday, August 31, 6:30 p.m. — Mean Machine, Agawam Park

The concerts are offered free and made possible with support from private sponsors and funding provided by Suffolk County and the Suffolk County Department of Economic Development and Planning.
