Author Carinn Jade will unveil her debut novel, “The Astrology House,” at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, July 3, at 7 p.m., in an event moderated by “Pop Fiction Women” host Kate Schumacher. As described by Simon & Schuster, “The Astrology House” centers around a group of wealthy Manhattanites escape to an astrology-themed retreat, where simmering resentments and long-held secrets lead to a shocking death in this fresh, twisty and suspenseful debut in the vein of Liane Moriarty and Katy Hays. Attendees will receive an advance copy of the novel two weeks before it is available in stores. The evening will also feature Diane Ferraro of Tarot Tauk, who will discuss the use of astrology and tarot in everyday life.

“Like the guests at ‘he Astrology House,’ this event is for the curious, the skeptics and the die-hard believers alike,” said Jade, who is originally from the North Fork and is a lawyer, writer and podcast host.

Rounding out the evening, Montauk-based astrologer Diane Ferraro of Tarot Tauk will discuss the use of astrology in everyday life. Ferraro fuses her passions for Tarot, astrology, Reiki, crystal classes, plant wisdom, yoga, energy healing and coaching. A life-long resident of Montauk who has lived in England as well as Brooklyn, she blends practical guidance with the art of divination and energy work to support personal growth.

Tickets can be purchased at whbpac.org, by calling 631-288-1500, or at the WHBPAC box office located at 76 Main Street, Westhampton Beach during business hours.

Join Long Island Music Hall of Famer and founding member of the Brooklyn Bridge Tommy Sullivan at the East Hampton Library on July 13, at 2 p.m. for “America’s answer to the Beatles.” In 1964, the Beatles exploded on the American music scene and quickly eclipsed most homegrown groups — with notable exceptions. Having shared concert and TV stages with these groups in the late 1960s, Sullivan’s personal connection ... by Staff Writer
