The Hampton Ballet Theatre School (HBTS) will present its 13th annual production of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s beloved “The Nutcracker” at Southampton High School from Friday, December 2 through Sunday, December 4.

The ballet is choreographed by HBTS director Sara Jo Strickland, and features costumes designed and hand sewn by Yuka Silvera, Sara Jo Strickland, and Kate McManus and lighting design by Ron Esposito. HBTS’ Pro Student Level 8 advanced dancers Lua Li, Sadie Radice and Molly Radice, who will be performing their final Nutcracker this year, will all dance featured roles with special guest artists from New York City.

Li and Radice will share the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy, partnered by guest artist Nick Peregrino, while Snow Queen and Dew Drop will be danced by Radice partnered by James Stevko. Olivia Quinn will also be dancing the role of Snow Queen. HBTS apprentice Holiday Bovio will be sharing the role of Arabian with Pro Student Level 7, Jade Mancilla.

Hampton Ballet Theatre School’s Nutcracker will enchant those of all ages, as the students of HBTS transport the audience to a land where angels, snowflakes, and flowers dance and Clara saves the Nutcracker Prince from the evil Mouse King. “The Nutcracker” will produce holiday cheer for all, as everyone celebrates in the Land of Sweets.

The 13th annual HBTS production of “The Nutcracker” will be performed on Friday, December 2, at 7 p.m., Saturday, December 3 at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Sunday, December 4 at 2 p.m. at Southampton High School, 141 Narrow Lane, Southampton. Advance tickets are $25 to $45 ($30 to $50 for day of performance tickets). Premium and orchestra are available at rates for both children (under age 12) and adults. Group rates for all performances are available for parties of 10 or more. Student rate of $15 for day of show only can be purchased with student ID.
