The Story of the Puffs

On December 2 and 3, Our Fabulous Variety Show (OFVS) will bring its fall production of “Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic” by Matt Cox to LTV Studios in Wainscott. The play is a comedic retelling of a certain wizarding story, but from the perspective of the “Puffs” and is a tale for anyone who has never been destined to save the world.

The show will feature student actors Patrick Conlon, Jack Davis, Lorenzo DeCarlo Cooper, Isla McLean, Sabrina Mello Da Silva, Anya Oza, Alessa Picco, Jadiel Rodríguez , Lorenzo Rodriguez, Lorianne Rodriguez, Sofia Rowe, Nicole Seitz, Riley Simmons, Thomas Sulfaro and Matthew Venesina.

Founded in 2010 by Anita Boyer and Kasia Klimiuk, OFVS is a nonprofit performance and arts education organization that produces productions from full scale to showcase, and provides educational performing arts programming to the community. OFVS’ mission is to create accessible, innovative cultural arts experiences and to bridge the arts opportunity gap by cultivating inclusive arts experiences for all.

Performances of “Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic” will take place at LTV Studios, 75 Industrial Road in Wainscott, on Friday December 2, at 7 p.m., and Saturday, December 3, at 2 and 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 to $25 for students and $15 to $35 for adults with VIP seating available for both.
