Located on Long Island Sound on the North Fork, the Uncommon Art Residency has been a cornerstone for community, collaboration and connection since its inception in 2017, offering an unparalleled space for contemporary artists, musicians, writers and creatives to explore their craft. Artists can apply year-round, with the selection process kicking off this fall.

Sound View Greenport is looking for passionate artists who want to create something extraordinary. To apply, candidates should submit their website, Instagram or portfolio, along with a bio, CV and a brief statement on what they hope to achieve during the residency. Interested candidates can contact Kara Hoblin, director of guest culture, at Khoblin@soundviewgreenport.com (put “Uncommon Art Residency 2025” in the subject line).

The Uncommon Art Residency is a collaboration between Sound View Greenport and The Anvil Hotel in Jackson Hole offering artists the chance to engage in local communities while creating and showcasing their work. This residency offers a unique platform for artists to not only create but also share their craft with the public through workshops, performances, or interactive experiences.

Sound View Greenport is at 58775 County Road 48 in Greenport. For more information, call 631-477-1910 or visit soundviewgreenport.com/uncommon-art-residency/.
