The Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center has announced its 2011 Summer Season.

The upcoming season will showcase national and international performing artists from an array of genres and cultures; a comedy line-up; an artistic dance company; a theatrical performance; and even a one-ring family circus under a “Big Top” on the Village Green in Westhampton Beach.

This year’s program spans big names like Wynonna and Elvis Costello & The Imposters to up-and-comers such as smooth jazz crooner Sachal Vasandani and acclaimed musician and producer Daniel Lanois’ reggae-infused music project, Black Dub.

Also making their PAC premier this season are “A Prairie Home Companion” humorist, Garrison Keillor; musician and lyricist, Josh Ritter; cigar-smoking, scotch-drinking comedian Ron White; Americana rock duo, Indigo Girls; the American band, Grand Funk Railroad; and “30 Rock” star, Jane Krakowski, who will perform a cabaret-style show.

Audience favorites returning to the WHBPAC this summer include Rita Rudner, Patti LuPone, Kenny Loggins, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Paula Poundstone, Beatles tribute band Fab Faux, Steve Tyrell, Joan Rivers, vocal stars of New York City Opera, Kelli O’Hara, Chris Botti, Pilobolus, Richard Thompson and Keb’ Mo’.

The PAC is also teaming up with the Hampton Synagogue to bring audiences a production of the one-woman show, “Golda’s Balcony.”

Family and children’s events include Zoppé, an Italian Family Circus, and Angelina Ballerina, a musical theatre experience for the whole family.

The “Finest In World Cinema” series continues in July with current-release foreign, independent, documentary and art house films, screened throughout the summer on most Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Andrew Botsford will continue to lead “Tuesday Night at the Movies with Andrew & Friends.”

This year’s special events include the ninth annual Golf Tournament and cocktail party at the Westhampton Country Club, the eighth annual “WHBPAC House and Garden Tour” and the “Be Our Guest” cocktail party and gala fundraiser.

Visit whbpac.org to view summer schedule dates, times and ticketing information. For reservations, sign up online, call the box office at 288-1500 or stop by on Main Street in Westhampton Beach.
