Westhampton Beach Performing Arts is presenting the winter run of The Finest in World Cinema program. Beginning with a bundle of Oscar shortlisted and nominated movies, the WHBPAC is presenting a carefully curated program of first run, independent and foreign films for the enjoyment, edification and enrichment of the community. The series runs Fridays, Saturdays, and most Sundays into the spring.
Oscar Nominated Short Films: March 3 to March 5
For the 18th consecutive year, WHBPAC, Shorts HD and Magnolia Pictures present the Oscar-Nominated Short Films. With all three categories offered again this year — Animated, Live Action and Documentary — this is your annual chance to predict the winners (and have the edge in your Oscar pool). Screen all three categories or choose to view just one. A perennial hit with audiences around the country and the world, don’t miss this year’s selection of shorts before the Academy Awards on Sunday, March 12.
