Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center honored past and present donors at a special cocktail party on Friday, August 27, preceding its grand reopening celebration featuring Cuban sensation Cimafunk.

Guests dined on authentic Cuban cuisine from Havana Central and the spirit of new beginning was in the air on this momentous occasion. Executive Director Julienne Penza-Boone and WHBPAC board Chairman James Kuhn addressed the crowd, thanking them for their generosity and continued support as the theater has rallied throughout the pandemic to keep its mission alive of bringing the arts to as many people as possible.

“Each and every person here is celebrated for your generous support,” said Penza-Boone, “and we’re ready to welcome live audiences back to our theater where they belong.” Following the party, Cimafunk took to the stage for a landmark performance, his only Long Island performance this year.
