It was a brief meeting for the East Hampton Town Board last Thursday, February 6, compared with its work session of two days prior, during which the board, the chief of police and more than a dozen residents spoke about undocumented immigrants and the Trump administration’s efforts to detain and deport them. The board did, however, hold five public hearings and schedule two others, the latter on amending the zoning code and expanding paid parking at locations in Montauk and Amagansett.
