Kalyf Kwame Crowell, an East Hampton resident, was arrested by East Hampton Village Police Saturday night at around 10 p.m. on felony charges of DWI. Police said Crowell was behind the wheel of a 2012 Infiniti sedan headed east on Montauk Highway with a burned-out headlight, leading to a traffic stop, and eventually, his arrest. The arresting officer said that Crowell appeared intoxicated and failed roadside sobriety tests. Kendra Marie Halamoutis, 35, of Brooklyn was arrested on a misdemeanor DWI charge by East Hampton Town Police early Saturday morning after a traffic stop on Route 114. The arresting officer reportedly made the traffic stop because Halamoutis, driving a late model Mercedes-Benz SUV, repeatedly swerved across the double yellow line. She appeared intoxicated, police said, and failed roadside sobriety tests. Police said Morales was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe on Route 114 near Stonewall Court when he lost control of the vehicle, going off-road before striking both a telephone pole and a tree.
