Tamay Sanchez, who is also known simply as Marco Sanchez in County Court in Central Islip, where he’s facing another misdemeanor DWI charge, was pulled over on Three Mile Harbor Road because, police said, he was driving a 2000 Honda Civic erratically, repeatedly swerving into the oncoming lane of traffic. Victor Gutierrez Nunez, 46, was charged with DWI as a felony Sunday night by the East Hampton Town Police. Police said that Gutierrez Nunez was found sleeping behind the wheel of a 2011 Toyota pickup truck, keys in the ignition and engine running, in a parking lot off North Main Street. Rene Patricio Yanza Garcia, 24, a resident of the North Sea area of Southampton, was charged by East Hampton Village Police with misdemeanor DWI a little after midnight on Sunday following a traffic stop on Montauk Highway near Danie’s Hole Road. Police said the stop was made because Yanza Garcia, driving west in a 2023 Honda Civic, was driving 70 mph where the limit is 40.
