The arresting officer reported observing Chilel Perez behind the wheel of a 2013 GMC cargo van on Industrial Road in Wainscott. Mischa Rene Hugli, 25, who told the court during his arraignment Sunday that he spends much of his time at sea professionally, while also having a Sag Harbor address and a South African passport, was arrested by East Hampton Town Police on misdemeanor DWI charges early Sunday morning. Hugli was driving a late-model Chevrolet Malibu west on Montauk Highway across Napeague Stretch when he was pulled over by police, reportedly for speeding along with a couple of lane violations. Aaron Bailey, 45, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, was arrested by East Hampton Town Police early Monday morning on a misdemeanor DWI charge. Bailey, driving a late-model Honda, west on Pantigo Road near the East Hampton Town government complex, repeatedly crossed the double yellow line into the oncoming lane of traffic, police said, leading to a traffic stop. The officer who made this stop said that Bailey appeared intoxicated and failed roadside sobriety tests, leading to his arrest. At headquarters, Bailey refused to take a breath test. Tyler P. DeBono, 26, of Shirley was charged the night of May 29 with misdemeanor DWI by East Hampton Town Police. Police said DeBono was driving a 2022 Dodge pickup west on Montauk Highway approaching Abraham’s Path in Amagansett when he crossed over the double yellow line to pass another vehicle. Police also said that DeBono was driving at an unsafe speed. DeBono smelled of alcohol, the arresting officer reported, and failed multiple sobriety tests at the side of the road.
